About

Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist

Hi! I’m Dr. Courtney Padjen. I’m a doctoral-level Licensed Associate Marriage & Family Therapist** and I am here to provide individuals with safety and support as they embark on their counseling and healing journey.

I’ve been described as honest, compassionate, approachable and trustworthy, and in the same breath I am blunt and direct. Often, I tell clients I’m “a mover and a shaker” – – Growing up I bounced around small towns in the Northwoods. There I learned that being direct is a kindness. I have wanted to be a therapist for as long as I can remember and have always had an interest in human sexuality and trauma. Having taken the ACES test and scoring an 8, I feel my trauma provides me with the ability to connect with clients with a deeper level of empathy and understanding. I am here to help you get comfortable with being uncomfortable to disrupt your own homeostasis and work as a catalyst to create the change you desire.

If you feel you are ready to start your journey, let’s connect! You can email me at courtney@centreforsexualwellness.org or fill out the consultation request form provided on the website.

** I am currently under the supervision of Alex Iantaffi, PhD, LMFT, CST, SEP

Master’s Level Mental Health Counselor and Sex & Relationship Counselor

Hey everyone, I’m Jackie, She/Her/Hers, Ally to the LGBTQIAP+ community, a Master’s Level Mental Health Counselor and Sex & Relationship Counselor, so glad you’re here! People describe me as eloquent, whitty, calm, bubbly, patient, and empathetic. I originally got into this career for two reasons, one, sex is everywhere and we don’t always know how to talk about it! Two, I grew up with very traditional and egalitarian gender roles and norms all at once, at times, it was confusing. Whether it be navigating conversations about sexual pleasure or exploration of gender identities in session, this is where I come in, my role is to help, listen, and support your unique needs. I am the type of therapist that strives to keep your best interest in mind in terms of goals that align with your values. I aid you with breaking patterns of the past and creating new ones for a better future! My clinical focuses incorporate sexual healing conversations, sexual exploration through inventory interventions, sexual pleasure, communication skills, BDSM/Kink Aware Therapy, Gottman’s Work, Gender Affirming Therapy, Gender Dysphoria and Euphoria, gender exploration and/or transitions, LGBTQ+ Affirmative Therapy, Sex in Late Life, Mindfulness-Based Practices, Strengths Based, psychoeducation on un/healthy relationships, and more!

If you are ready to start your therapy adventure, create some changes, let’s connect! Feel free to send me an email to jackie@centreforsexualwellness.org or fill out the consultation request form on the website. *I am currently working to complete hours towards licensure and my state examination. I am under supervision of Alex Iantaffi, PhD, LMFT, CST, SEP.
